About this Blog

This is the place where I post the current Artist Trading Cards for myself, Rebecca, and Emily.  If you want to trade for one of our cards, post a comment or email me.

What is an Artist Trading Card (ATC)?
For the purposes of this site, our ATCs are miniature works of art, made by hand, that we trade with other artists.  We have invited family, friends, and friends of friends to swap with us.

What are the guidelines for an ATC?
Again, for our purposes, the guidelines are these:

  • The cards must be 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" or smaller, able to fit in a standard card collector sleeve.
  • The cards must be handmade
  • The art must not be of an obscene or graphic nature, as small children are trading for these.
Other than that, the sky is the limit!

How do I join in?
To start, you will need your own ATCs to trade.  Using blank cardstock cut to size, decorate one side with your original artwork.

On the reverse side, include:
  • The artist's name
  • The artist's age (if a child)
  • The date of completion of the card
Once you have a few cards, trade them with us or other artists.  You can create new cards to increase your collection and trade them or trade ones that you have gotten from others.

Can I just buy one?
Nope.  These cards aren't for sale.  Trade only.

Okay, I have some cards.  Now what?
Look around on our site.  Are there any cards you would like?  What cards would you be willing to trade for them?  Take a picture of the cards you're willing to trade, then email them with a list of ones you would be willing to trade for.  Send the email to lizzy17 (at) gmail (dot) com, then we'll negotiate!

Remember, all trades are optional in either direction, and with small children, sometimes they won't want to trade.  Try to be polite; we are all excited to see everyone's art.

Tell your friends about us, and let's get to know each other with our art!
Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to my Art Card Trading Center.
